Timcon Construction was awarded the CMAR for the renovations and upgrades at the City of Red Deer Facility – 911 Communication and Emergency Services HQ (Headquarters) Renovation project. This project was considered an Essential Needs Modernization undertaken by the City of Red Deer to support current and future growth requirements. This facility is responsible for all Central Alberta 911 Emergency Response and Dispatch services as well as the City of Red Deer Emergency Services Headquarters. The City temporarily relocated these service to their back-up location to maintain current operational needs during construction. The most stringent task of this project was the responsibility for maintaining all existing HUB communication and network functions at this primary location during construction, as the Server Room houses critical components for operational needs.
